Punta Prima is one of the most desirable areas in the southern part of the Costa Blanca. It is only 45 minutes drive from Alicante airport and 5 km south of Torrevieja city centre. With beaches, restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, etc. within a short walking distance, Punta Prima is an ideal place to spend a holiday.
The Zenia Boulevard shopping center is within 5 minutes by car, while you can reach a total of 8 golf courses within a 20-minute drive, including the award-winning Las Colinas Golf & Country Club.

Known for its old Town, Basilica and beautiful palm gardens. The “Mystery Play of Elche”, a sacred musical drama, is played there each year. Take a walk under palm trees and other exotic tropical plants in Huerto del Cura garden, where you will also see and hear peacocks roaming. It takes 45 min to drive there. Multiaventura Elche is a multi-adventure park for both children and adults in a magical setting of palm trees

Known for their pure and refreshing waters, are home to numerous cascading waterfalls that flow into crystal-clear pools. You can dip in and relax under the trees. It takes 1 hour 35 min to get there by car. You can park at any restaurant’s parking lot for 5€ (it will be deducted from the bill if you eat there). Take the bathing shoes with you as there are many stones, and they are very slippery!

A one-day trip to Alicante is a must.
Recommended places to visit in Alicante is Castillo de Santa Barbara, the Old Town “El Barrio”, the market Mercat Central d’Alacant, Playa de San Juan (the best beach on Costa Blanca). Postiguet beach in the center is also beautiful but very busy during the summer. There is plenty of very good restaurants and shopping possibilities.

Although it is located a bit more far away (it takes 50 min by foot, 15 min by bike or 10 min by car to get there), it’s worth visiting. It offers soft sand, clean water and a wide range of amenities, including beach bars, restaurants, sunbeds, and water sports facilities. During July-August it can though become very busy.

Two sandy beaches which are formed in their own individuals bays, both within easy access of one another with a paved pathways that encompass a plaza which hosts live entertainment during the evenings in the summer months and other various activities throughout the year. It takes 40 min by foot or 10 min by bike or car to get there.
